FEINA - NEW MORE EFFICIENT MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR AERONAUTICAL INDUSTRY

Objective: Carry out a study for the future manufacture of large titanium aeronautical parts, using the additive 3D welding process called WAAM; (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing), carrying out an exhaustive analysis of the parts that best adapt to additive technology, achieving a WAAM process that allows to correlate process parameters with mechanical properties of the final part, which in this case will be highly responsible parts for aerostructures.
