Through computer-assisted engineering (CAE), using the finite element method (FEM), it is possible to predict the behaviour of a structure, a product or a process, so that you can include any appropriate modification in order to reduce the time and cost of the design process.

Thermo-mechanical simulation

Through the mechanical analysis of a component or assembly, using the finite element technique, it is possible to predict its behaviour obtaining the stress and deformation fields caused by applying the appropriate boundary conditions and loads. Thus, it is possible to carry out different types of analysis:

On the other hand, the use of the finite element technique in thermal analysis allows to obtain the temperature distribution of a component or equipment under stable operating conditions (steady-state analysis) or under start-up / shut-down conditions (transient analysis) considering the heat transfer mechanisms of conduction, convection and radiation.

Besides, coupling different physics (fluid-dynamics, thermal and structural), it is possible to simulate complex problems where phenomena of different natures concur.
